TsuCAT can also assist national tsunami warning centers with early situational awareness (approximate scenario) prior to the availability of event-specific forecasts from national agencies or international tsunami service providers. As TsuCAT is a pre-computed database of plausible tsunami scenarios with customizable coastal hazard warning polygons, it could be useful as a look-up tool to provide a conservative assessment prior to PTWC tsunami forecasts (typically 30 minutes after the earthquake due to the time required to reliably characterize the earthquake source).Click to view TsuCAT overview and demonstration video - WFO Guam, 26 Jan 2021 - FSM-Marshall Islands-Palau, 16 Feb 2021 - WSO Pago Pago, 24 Feb 2021 (coming soon)Click to download TsuCAT Overview presentation, v4.2, October 2020 (15 MB)Click to download TsuCAT Information Sheet, v4.2, October 2020 (832 KB)Click to download TsuCAT poster: Tsunami Coastal Hazard Assessment Tool (TsuCAT) - Supporting National Efforts in Disaster Risk Reduction, International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics, July 2019 (13 MB)Click to download TsuCAT poster: Tsunami Coastal Assessment Tool (TsuCAT): A Tool fo Rapid Initial Tsunami Assessment, IOC/UNESCO Symposium: Advances in Tsunami Warning to Enhance Community Responses, 12-14 February 2018, Paris, France (13 MB, below)
This module is designed to help emergency managers prepare their communities for tsunamis. Lessons include basic tsunami science, hazards produced by tsunamis, regional U.S. tsunami risks, the tsunami warning system, the importance of public education activities, and how to craft good emergency messages and develop tsunami response plans. Additional content provides video interviews of lessons learned by public officials in Crescent City, CA after the March 11, 2011 tsunami that originated in Japan. The module also contains links to extensive Reference and Resources sections. The latter includes tsunami PowerPoint presentations for each major U.S. region (Atlantic Coast, Gulf Coast, West Coast, Hawaii and Pacific Islands, Alaska, and Caribbean) that can be downloaded and customized for a particular location or need.
@BoBbY2 Not O but the number has in zero just put or add -0 or 00.0 or just 0 i tihnk. To do a backup of water.xml or other stuff go to the location's that they give in the text's of file's for the mod's just make a backup folder or redo or readd folder then copy all those file's to your folder and your'll be able to readd all the stuff without worrying about deleting gta5 or having to redownload
JCG and JMA provided tide gauge data. Ports and Harbors Bureau (PHB) under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) and Port and Airport Research Institute (PARI) provided tide gauge, wave gauge and GPS wave gauge data. The data of ocean-bottom tsunami sensors of JAMSTEC and DART of NOAA were downloaded from their web sites. Most of the figures were generated using Generic Mapping Tools (Wessel and Smith, 1998). This research was partially supported by Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (B) (No. 21310113), Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).

Follow us!NTWC PTWC --> NWS Tsunami Products (Effective April 3, 2017)Tsunami messages are National Weather Service (NWS) products. NWS products are described by both a World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Header and an Advanced Weather Interactive Processing System (AWIPS) ID. The following table describes the products issued by the two NWS Tsunami Warning Centers (click on the product for an example). WEPA41 and WEXX20 are segmented Warning, Watch, and Advisory products which contain Universal Geographic Code and NWS Valid Time Event Codes. WEHW40, WEZS40, WEGM40, WEAK51, WECA40 and WEXX30 are Warning, Watch, and Advisory products which are provided in a bulleted format intended for easy reading.WEAK61, WEAK63, WECA50, WECA32, WEXX40 and WEXX42 have the same content as WEAK51, WEAK53, WECA40, WECA42, WEXX30 and WEXX32, but in Spanish.WEPA40 and WECA41 are intended for international authorities and users. While these products do mention U.S. states and territories, they do not reflect additional modeling and analysis conducted by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center to fine tune the forecasts and alert levels for these coasts. U.S. audiences should refer to the products specific to their region as noted in the table below.Click to download List of Products
